What did you do before you were a Miner?
+ My career spanned various industries before I joined Media Minefield, including mortgage financing, sales and higher education. While completely different in nature, these roles had some common themes: managing teams, building trusting relationships, supporting development and leading culture initiatives. Pair those experiences with my addiction to news and current events, and it sure feels like I’ve won the lottery in my role at Media Minefield!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
+ Focus on the things you are for, not the things you are against.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t at work?
+ As empty-nesters, my husband and I enjoy doing whatever we want when we want! We bike, paddle board, play pickle ball, explore new restaurants, binge the latest Netflix shows and spend time on the deck with our books and our dogs. All with a ton of gratitude in our hearts!
If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?
+ Perfect pitch (or literally anything close to pitch?)! I remain proudly masterful at lip syncing.
If you could switch lives with any character from a book or movie for a day, who would it be?
+ Rebecca Welton from Ted Lasso. Absolute QUEEN!
