SERVICES MANAGER
Andrew Lovelette
What did you do before you were a Miner?
+ Before joining Media Minefield, I was a TV news/sports anchor, reporter and producer for more than 8 years. Writing, editing and telling the stories that matter in the communities I worked and lived in has equipped me with the skills to handle almost every situation I encounter now as a public relations professional. Both careers have also shown me the importance of relationships and the value they bring to clients and the media.
Share your favorite client memory.
+ I always look forward to the joy and excitement from clients after securing their first media interview. We coach our clients pre- and post-interview, so anytime a client shares that they felt prepared for any question or situation thrown their way, it means we did our job well. Also, anytime a client lets us know a media interview led to business of their own is a tremendous win.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
+ Never give up.
What would you tell your 20-year-old self?
+ Life is hard, but you have the strength, perseverance and faith to accomplish anything.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t at work?
+ I try to spend as much time in the great outdoors as possible, whether that’s hiking or going for a run with my dog, River, paddleboarding on one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes or playing soccer.
If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?
+ Playing the guitar or speaking any language.
What’s your secret talent or party trick?
+ Dancing.
What’s one thing on your bucket list that you’re determined to accomplish?
+ Attend the World Cup soccer tournament.
