Social Media Coach

Social Media Coaches work closely with our Media Coaches as they create messaging for our clients’ social media pages. Social Media Coaches have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing public social media accounts and are meticulously detailed, deadline driven and nimble as they jump from one project to the next. As self-starters, our Social Media Coaches are also innovative problem solvers with the ability to prioritize, organize and strategize while navigating through various platform ambiguities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and model the MINER Core Values
  • Own and innovate around social media strategy for Positive Online Presence (POP®) clients as assigned
  • Understand and create content in the ‘voice’ of POP clients
  • Review analytics to inform strategy for POP clients going forward
  • Optimize posts with strategic tags and hashtags, post, monitor and engage for POP Premier clients
  • Create and maintain monthly POP Reports for POP clients
  • Crop photos and create collages to fit parameters of social media platforms as directed by Media Coaches
  • Assist Media Coaches with social media strategy for POP clients and review analytics to inform strategy going forward
  • Attend strategy calls with POP clients and act as a resource for clients with questions related to social media
  • Work with members of the social media team to deliver social media training for clients as needed
  • Research updates to social media platforms and social media posting best practices and cascade to Media Teams
  • Communicate with Agorapulse, our social media scheduling and reporting system
  • Innovate around our POP delivery process

 

Job Requirements:

  • Residence in Minneapolis-St. Paul area; in-office a minimum of two days/week
  • Demonstrated proficiency on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram platforms
  • Proficiency in Google app software (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) and general troubleshooting ability and adept at quickly understanding new software (applications) and processes
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Energized by working with and helping others
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Dedication to learning and professional/personal development
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent is preferred

Media Coordinator

Our ideal candidate is is looking to launch a career in the PR industry, has experience or education in communications/journalism/PR, is amazingly flexible and excited for personal and professional growth.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and model the MINER Core Values
  • Apply critical thinking and an eye for detail to capture and edit videos of client media placements
  • Create and maintain accurate Publicity Reports for clients
  • Research media markets to identify contacts and outlets to align with client messaging and target audience(s)
  • Provide digital marketing support for Media Minefield and external clients, as necessary
  • Assist Media Teams with Message Sessions, cultivating media contacts for clients across the country, pitching clients, and conducting focused research to help identify media opportunities for clients
  • Cross-train with similar functions to provide efficient and uninterrupted coverage and support for internal clients
  • Collaborate with operations team, as needed, to ensure office runs smoothly

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Google app software (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) and general troubleshooting ability
  • Video editing a plus
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Adept at quickly understanding new software (applications) and processes

Social Media Director

A successful Social Media Director will strategically lead and optimize our Positive Online Presence (POP®) service line and have a strong track record of developing future leaders.

  • Collaborate with Growth Team in sales conversations and proposal strategy as necessary
