What did you do before you were a Miner?

After my anticlimactic 2020 Iowa State University virtual graduation, I spent two years on staff at the Salt Company college ministry. I LOVED my six years in Ames but I am excited to put my finance degree to good use and jump into all that MM has to offer!

What are three things people don’t know about you?

+ I once won the chance to have my photo on a downtown Minneapolis billboard for 24 hours.

+ I’ve traveled to 9 countries outside of the U.S.

+ On my drive down to Iowa State in 2016, I told my mom “I would never marry an Iowa farm boy.” Boy, was I wrong!

What do you do for fun?

I love scoping out a good deal. Whether that be scrolling through my Facebook Marketplace or swinging into any garage sales I might see.

If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?

I would either be in Norway for the first time, China for the second, or staying in a tiny house somewhere. Even better – I’d be at a tiny house in Norway or China.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one food, what would it be?

I would scrap the food and bring a 12-pack of Fresca.
