What did you do before you were a Miner?

My background is in theater, marketing and communications. Working with a non profit theater company in Miami immersed me in all aspects of the industry including performance, administration and marketing to name a few. Theater life is unpredictable, and I have no shortage of wild and interesting stories to tell! I also spent time working in communications with a commercial real estate association in St. Paul and had many great experiences working with professionals in that area.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy watching and playing tennis, listening to jazz and old school hip hop, attending networking events, outdoor activities (hiking, camping, walking around a lake, finding a good nature trail, exploring a state park), board games, bowling, watching writing tutorials and consuming daily news.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one food, what would it be?

Definitely tacos. I’d never get sick of eating them because, even as a vegetarian, there are so many variations from Beyond Meat, black beans and chickpeas to cauliflower, mushrooms and tofu!
