What did you do before you were a Miner?
+ I worked at a public accounting firm for almost 6 years where I prepared tax returns and managed accounting for multiple clients. The world of public accounting can be incredibly hectic (tax season!) and then extremely slow (summer). I was ready for a new challenge and a more consistent schedule.
What would you tell your 20-year-old self?
+ Actively seek out new opportunities, even if they are risky, and welcome new experiences and situations rather than resisting them.
If you could have a dream dinner party, who would sit at your table?
+ Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali, Bill Russell, and Anthony Bourdain.
If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?
+ I hate spending money on vehicle repairs, so I would love to master the skill of fixing all car issues!
What’s a hobby you’ve always wanted to try but never have?
+ I would love to learn to play an instrument – specifically the harmonica or the fiddle.
