What did you do before you were a Miner?

Before joining the Media Minefield team, I was a morning news anchor at WDIO-TV in Duluth, MN. I started there as a reporter and then transitioned to the early hours behind the desk. Before that, I was lucky enough to intern at CNN in New York City and KARE 11 and WCCO in the Twin Cities.

If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?

I would be in Florence, Italy having a plate of the best pasta in the world and gelato for dessert. I studied abroad there in college and have always loved the Italian language, cuisine and culture. I can’t wait to go back soon!

What are three things people don’t know about you?

+ I was a guest on Katie Couric’s show twice.

+ An actress plays me in a movie titled “Clouds.”

+ I’ve watched “The Office” more times than I can count. I’ve also met Rainn Wilson, the actor who plays Dwight Schrute.

What do you do for fun?

I love spending time with my friends and family whenever and wherever I can. We enjoy taking in sporting events, checking out the local breweries, going to concerts and traveling.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one food, what would it be?

Pizza. I could eat pizza all day, every day, for the rest of my life.
