What did you do before you were a Miner?

I was a TV news/sports anchor, reporter and producer in Austin, MN; Duluth, MN; Dodge City, KS; Eau Claire, WI; and Minneapolis, MN.

If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?

Right here! I spent most of my early career moving across the country from station to station not knowing what I wanted until I was gone. I was born and raised in Minnesota, and I absolutely love being back!

If we had a Media Minefield talent show, what would your talent be?

Dancing. If anybody has seen me at a wedding, they can vouch for me.

What do you do for fun?

I’m a huge sports nut. I spend a lot of time playing, watching and analyzing. When I was a kid, I had to be involved in a sport for every season. I like to go for runs around many of Minnesota’s lakes and parks. I also enjoy fishing, hunting and exploring all aspects of the great outdoors.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one food, what would it be?

Salmon - it’s extremely versatile, healthy and delicious.
