What did you do before you were a Miner?

I was a sports editor for three years at a small-town newspaper in Nebraska, before spending the last seven-plus years handling Communications and Operations at a nonprofit in downtown Chicago.

If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?

Santa Cruz, California. My wife and I honeymooned there, and we instantly fell in love with the ocean, community and lifestyle. Plus, after seeing the boardwalk play a prominent role in Jordan Peele’s 2019 movie, “Us”, I am determined to return one day and find my tethered counterpart.  

What are three things people don’t know about you?
