What did you do before you were a Miner?
+ My path to Media Minefield spans a variety of roles, each of which helped me develop a unique blend of expertise in customer service, hospitality and organizational skills. I was a lead concierge at a senior living community, a store manager and office administrator at a specialty coffee shop and even a salesperson for an organic lawn and garden care company.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
+ First choice, best choice. Trust your intuition.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t at work?
+ I love camping and hiking in our Minnesota State Parks and National Parks. At home, I can be in the garden working for hours on end without it seeming like any time has passed.
If you could switch lives with any character from a book or movie for a day, who would it be?
+ Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation. She’s a total baddy who lives with purpose, positivity, unwavering support for her friends and embraces silliness.
What’s your favorite family tradition?
+ My favorite family tradition is having fondue with everyone on Christmas Eve. My grandma and grandpa started this with us when we were kids, and it gives us time to sit and enjoy one another’s company.
