What did you do before you were a Miner?
I served as the CBS 3/KBJR 6 sports director in Duluth, Minnesota, for three years! Before then, I worked as a sports anchor/reporter in the Tri-Cities, Washington. Sports have always been a passion of mine (I was a terrible athlete but a really good talker), so I knew I wanted to be in sports in some way. Now being back in the Twin Cities, I am back to being the most dedicated fan!
What do you miss about working in the news industry?
The community in Duluth and my coworkers. I was blessed with some pretty amazing people to share the desk with. The sports fans in the Northland are the best out there!
If you could time travel and spend a day at any past or future event, where would you go?
1980 Miracle on Ice game in Lake Placid, NY.
If you could have a dream dinner party, who would sit at your table?
My mom, Taylor Swift, Katie Nolan and Trey Kennedy.
What would you tell your 20-year-old self?
It’s all going to work out. Stop stressing, and go have fun.
