Our ideal Director of Finance will serve as the senior leader overseeing all finance-related activities. Operating as a key business partner to the Executive Team, this individual will work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial guidance, helping to align financial and non-financial metrics with business objectives.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or related field (CPA or CMA preferred) and minimum of 5 (and no more than 10) years of experience in accounting or financial management, the Director of Finance must have extensive technical skills and a mindset of continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration and strategic thinking, with an innate ability to bring strong communication and critical thinking skills to every challenge. The successful candidate will excel at:

+ Acting as a financial business partner to the Executive Team and other key stakeholders

+ Managing all day-to-day finance and accounting activities

+ Designing, monitoring and reporting on business and financial performance metrics

+ Leading financial planning efforts that are aligned with near-term and long-term goals

+ Ensuring tax compliance

+ Continuously seeking opportunities to improve and automate financial processes

+ Evaluating new systems that enhance reporting and automation and support business growth

To maximize collaboration and teamwork, it is preferred that the Director of Finance spend most of their time on-site; however, periodic remote work will be an opportunity for the right individual.
